We are experiencing extremely high call volumes at this time and wanted to remind everyone that we have Web Ticket entry available for use by excavators and contractors. You can enter Normal locate requests, including Remarks and Job Extensions, via the Web 24/7 without waiting in queue for an operator. If you still wish to call in locates, please keep in mind that our peak call times are from 8:00AM until 12:30PM and again from 4PM to 6PM. Safe Digging Month:
The Common Ground Alliance and its stakeholders have designated May 2008 as National Safe Digging Month. This month is dedicated to increasing awareness of safe digging practices across the country and to celebrate the one-year anniversary of 811, the national call-before-you-dig number. Throughout the busy digging month of May, The Common Ground Alliance and its members are encouraging homeowners and contractors to call 811 before they dig to prevent injuries, property damage and inconvenient outages.
