Each year, a Kentucky 811 Board of Directors election is held at the Annual Membership Meeting to fill vacancies and expired terms. These elections present an opportunity for Kentucky 811 members to participate in a leadership role as a voting member of the Board of Directors.

That’s why we go the extra mile to ensure your organization is well versed in the latest dig laws, safety practices, and Kentucky 811 services through free on-site trainings.
This past fall, Kentucky 811 asked local photographers of all levels to submit photographs that capture the quintessential beauty of Kentucky for a chance to be featured in our limited-edition 2024 calendar. Twelve photos were selected for the calendar and the top three were awarded prizes. The top three winners are featured below. Did you know that Kentucky 811 has two public awareness and damage prevention managers? Patrick Donoghue and Ms. Jamie Gaddis travel around the state providing outreach to utility companies – both members and non-members – and educating Kentuckians of all ages and backgrounds about safe digging at community events.
Kentucky 811 and One Call Concepts, Inc. (OCC) host two webinars on our cutting-edge software every week with Webinar Wednesdays. Each Wednesday, we do a live demo of ITICnxt (9 a.m. ET) and the Locator Tickets portal (1 p.m. ET) explaining how to navigate and efficiently use the software, followed by a chance to ask our experts questions.
The 2023 Kentucky Damage Prevention Summit proved to be a great success! Resulting in a very strong turnout, attendees traveled from all over the state to join us at Embassy Suites Lexington for three days focused on industry updates, networking, and safety education.
In early February 2023, Kentucky 811 Executive Director Tim Vaughn and the One Call Concepts team toured around Kentucky for the 2023 Software Summits. Together, they hosted summits in six different cities, providing the opportunity to meet local excavators and member utilities face-to-face and introduce KY811’s new ticket submission and management software.
